A non-dominant hand portrait drawing of John Baldessari. I’ve been working on these drawings since last year and asking people to sit for me so I can do a portrait of them with my non-dominant hand (my left). Very trippy and liberating, because since I know I have no control of that hand, then there’s very little self criticism. No, John didn’t sit for me, but I am enjoying these studies from the right side of my Brain.
My art project “The priority boxes” is celebrating 6 years! There’s not a moment since the beginning, that I don’t reflect on some aspect of the impact they’ve had on so many people around the world. It’s hard to believe at times, it’s hard to believe it has been six years and still going strong. But here we are, wondering where the road will continue to lead.
